In 1993, members of the Alexander UMC began coordinating with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive. Over the last 20 plus years, members of the Church have stepped up to the challenge of coordinating blood drives by scheduling dates, setting up the fellowship hall, assisting with registration and manning the canteen. The blood drive is held every 3 months throughout the year. To learn more about the American Red Cross, visit their website at www.redcrossblood.org.
If you feel led to donate blood, please look for signs around the Village announcing the time and date of the blood drive. Information will also be posted on our Calendar page. If you would like to volunteer, please Contact Us.
